SEO & Technical Audit Pricing
Most agencies won’t tell you what an audit costs until you’ve sat through a discovery call. We publish ours, because a diagnosis you can’t price isn’t a product — it’s a sales funnel.
Below is what we charge, what drives the number, and what you receive. If your situation doesn’t fit these brackets, the audit call is free and we’ll tell you so.
What we charge
Technical SEO Audit — $1,200
A full diagnostic audit for a single-market e-commerce store, typically under 25,000 URLs. Manual verification of every material finding, indexation analysis against Search Console, canonical and pagination logic, internal linking and crawl depth, and a priority-ordered fix list with effort estimates.
Delivered in 5–10 business days.
Advanced Technical & GEO Audit — $2,800
Everything above, plus the forensic layer: server log file analysis, rendered-versus-raw HTML comparison, faceted navigation and crawl-trap mapping, structured data validation across templates, hreflang and multi-market indexation, and AI crawler access testing for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and OAI-SearchBot.
Built for larger catalogues, headless or JavaScript-heavy builds, multi-market stores, and any site where traffic dropped and nobody can explain why.
Delivered in 2–4 weeks, depending on how quickly your host provides log access.
Migration & enterprise scope — from $4,500
Pre- or post-migration risk analysis, platform constraint mapping, a phased implementation roadmap, and working sessions with your engineering team. Scoped after a call, because replatforms vary too much to price from a template.
Ongoing technical retainer — from $1,500 / month
For teams that want the fixes implemented and monitored rather than handed over. Available after an audit, never bundled with one.
What actually drives the price
Not your page count. A 200,000-URL store built from eight templates is often faster to audit than a 3,000-URL store with sixty bespoke landing pages, because technical problems live in templates, faceted navigation rules and rendering behaviour — not in individual products.
The four variables that move our number:
- Template count — how many distinct page types need separate analysis
- Rendering method — server-rendered, hydrated, or fully client-side
- Log access — whether we can see what crawlers actually did, not just what they could do
- Markets and languages — each locale adds hreflang and indexation scope
What’s in every audit
- A prioritised issue register, ranked by revenue impact and implementation effort — not a flat list of 300 findings
- Evidence attached to each finding: crawl segments, log samples, Search Console exports, screenshots
- Rendered-HTML analysis, so you know what crawlers see after JavaScript executes
- Indexation reconciliation — submitted versus indexed versus impression-earning URLs, with the gaps explained
- Implementation specifications your developer can action without a follow-up call
- A re-test plan, so each fix can be verified after deployment
What we don’t sell
We don’t sell audits under $500. At that price the only thing anyone can deliver is a crawler export with commentary, and you can generate that yourself with Screaming Frog’s free tier in twenty minutes.
We also don’t bundle the audit into a mandatory retainer. A diagnosis that only exists to sell the treatment has an incentive problem, and you should be able to take our findings to any developer you like.
